Cristiano Ronaldo marked his return to Al-Nassr with a goal in a 4-0 victory over Al-Riyadh, saying, “Good to be back.”
Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his delight after scoring in his first appearance of the season for the Saudi Pro League club.
Ronaldo came off the bench in the second half and completed the scoring as Al-Nassr secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Al-Riyadh on Friday.
Abdulelah Al-Amri opened the scoring for Al-Nassr before Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel doubled the advantage before the break.
Joao Felix then added a third goal early in the second half before Ronaldo came on and scored the fourth to seal an emphatic victory for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
The Portuguese superstar celebrated the goal with his teammates before later taking to X to share his reaction.
Posting a photograph of himself celebrating with his teammates, Ronaldo simply wrote: “Good to be back.”
The appearance marked Ronaldo’s return to competitive action after an extended break following Portugal’s campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The veteran forward remains a key figure for Al-Nassr as the club looks to challenge for major honours this season.
His immediate return to the scoresheet will also boost expectations surrounding his goalscoring contribution as the new Saudi Pro League campaign gathers momentum.
