Writer Guidelines
GNA News is committed to accurate, fair, and impactful journalism. All contributors are expected to uphold the following standards before submitting any content for editorial review.
Core Principles
1. Originality & Accuracy
All submissions must be entirely original work. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. Writers must independently fact-check all claims, statistics, and quotes before submission and cite sources appropriately.
2. Fairness & Respect
Content must present multiple perspectives on contentious issues while avoiding bias and inflammatory language. Every subject must be treated with respect regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, or political affiliation.
3. Image Requirements
Only images you own or have properly licensed may be used. AI-generated visuals must be clearly labelled. Minimum resolution: 1200 × 800 pixels.
Writing Standards
Headlines
Headlines must be clear, concise, and compelling — written in active voice, a maximum of 12 words, and free of clickbait.
Structure
Use short paragraphs of 2–4 sentences and include subheadings for longer pieces. The lead paragraph must answer who, what, when, where, why, and how within the first 2–3 sentences.
