FG Unveils Digital Standards Portal to Boost Made-in-Nigeria Products

The Federal Government has launched a digital standards portal aimed at improving access to quality standards information and supporting the growth of Made-in-Nigeria products.

The initiative, introduced through the country’s standards regulatory framework, is designed to provide businesses with easier access to standards, certification information and compliance requirements needed to improve product quality.

Officials said the platform would help manufacturers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, understand industry requirements and improve their competitiveness in local and international markets.

The government has continued to emphasise the importance of strengthening local production, improving consumer confidence and reducing dependence on imported goods through policies that support Nigerian businesses.
