Tinubu Appoints Fayose, 25 Others Into Key Federal Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 26 individuals to leadership positions across 10 federal agencies and commissions, with former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose appointed as Chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA). Fayose will chair the REA board alongside newly appointed non-executive directors, while Abba Abubakar Aliyu will continue serving as the agency's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. In another major appointment, Major General Junaid Bindawa (retd.) was named Chairman of the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, with Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas appointed as the commission's Secretary.
