INEC Begins 2026 Recruitment, Here's How to Apply

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has opened its recruitment portal for the 2026 employment exercise, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for various entry-level positions across Grade Levels 07, 08, 09, 10 and 12. The commission said the recruitment is part of efforts to strengthen its workforce ahead of future electoral activities.

According to INEC, interested applicants must submit their applications through the commission's official online recruitment portal before the deadline. Candidates are expected to possess the required educational qualifications and meet other eligibility criteria specified for each position. The commission advised applicants to carefully read the application guidelines and provide accurate information during registration.

INEC also warned prospective applicants against using unofficial websites or paying money to individuals claiming to facilitate the recruitment process. It stressed that the exercise is free of charge and urged candidates to rely only on information released through its official communication channels.

The commission encouraged qualified Nigerians to apply early and ensure all required documents are uploaded correctly before submitting their applications. It noted that only shortlisted candidates who meet the recruitment requirements will be contacted for the next stage of the exercise.
