The Ministry of Health has launched a nationwide malaria prevention drive targeting five million households with long-lasting insecticidal nets.
The Ministry of Health has launched a nationwide malaria prevention campaign targeting five million households across Ghana with long-lasting insecticidal nets, indoor residual spraying and community health education.
Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu said malaria remains the leading cause of outpatient morbidity in Ghana, accounting for nearly 40 per cent of all cases.
"We are fighting back against malaria with every tool available," the Minister said at the campaign launch in Tamale.
