Aiyedatiwa Honours Akeredolu on Posthumous 70th Birthday, Pledges to Sustain Legacy

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has paid glowing tribute to his late predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu, on what would have been his 70th birthday, describing him as a courageous leader, mentor and statesman whose contributions continue to shape the development of the state. The governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to preserving and advancing the legacy left behind by the former governor.

In a statement marking the posthumous birthday anniversary, Aiyedatiwa praised Akeredolu's unwavering commitment to justice, good governance and public service. He noted that the late governor's bold leadership, advocacy for true federalism, establishment of the Amotekun security network and infrastructure development initiatives had left a lasting impact on Ondo State.
