Transfer: Al-Ittihad Make €10.5m Move for Super Eagles Captain Ndidi

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad have submitted an official bid to sign Beşiktaş captain Wilfred Ndidi, according to reports from Turkey.

Turkish news outlet Milliyet reported that Al-Ittihad offered €10.5 million for the Nigeria international, with the deal potentially rising to €12.5 million through performance-related bonuses.

Beşiktaş are yet to decide whether to accept the proposal and are expected to consult head coach Vincenzo Italiano before reaching a final decision.

According to the report, the Italian tactician will assess the impact of losing the midfielder before the club determines its next move in the transfer negotiations.

Ndidi joined Beşiktaş from English club Leicester City last summer and quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad, eventually becoming the club captain.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a solid debut campaign in the Turkish Super Lig, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 31 league appearances while playing a vital role in midfield.

His consistent performances have attracted interest from clubs outside Europe, with Al-Ittihad now making a formal move to bring the experienced midfielder to Saudi Arabia.
