Super Falcons Unveil 10-Star Jersey Ahead of WAFCON 2026

Nigeria's Super Falcons have unveiled a new jersey featuring 10 stars around the team's badge ahead of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco. Each star represents one of Nigeria's 10 continental titles, celebrating the team's status as the most successful side in the history of African women's football. The new kit made its debut during the Falcons' 2-1 international friendly victory over Tanzania's Twiga Stars.

The specially designed jersey symbolises the Super Falcons' remarkable dominance on the continent and serves as a tribute to generations of players who have helped build the team's legacy. The reigning African champions will wear the kit as they seek to win a record-extending 11th WAFCON title in Morocco.

Head coach Justine Madugu and his squad head into the tournament as favourites, with their opening match scheduled against Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. The team is also targeting qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, with strong performances expected throughout the competition.
