The Ogun State Police Command has recovered a Lexus RX300 stolen from the residence of retired Ogun State Television broadcaster, Kitan Oyesiku, who was murdered alongside her security guard in Iyana Agodo Village, Owode-Egba area of Ogun State.
The recovery was confirmed on Monday during a visit by the Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, to the crime scene as part of ongoing investigations into the double homicide that shocked residents of the community.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, the Commissioner visited the residence to conduct an on-the-spot assessment and review progress made by detectives handling the case.
The police said Ojajuni inspected the premises and received detailed briefings from investigators, while reaffirming the command’s commitment to ensuring that those responsible for the killings are identified and prosecuted.
The Commissioner assured residents that the command would leave no stone unturned in uncovering the circumstances surrounding the deaths and bringing all perpetrators to justice.
