Police Arrest Four Armed Robbery Suspects Over Corpers' Lodge Attack in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested four suspected armed robbers linked to a violent attack on the Corpers' Lodge at the Specialist Hospital in Jimeta, Yola. The suspects are being investigated for criminal conspiracy, unlawful possession of dangerous weapons, criminal trespass and armed robbery.
According to the police, the arrests followed a swift intelligence-led operation after the robbery at the lodge, where the suspects allegedly invaded the premises, threatened residents with weapons and carted away valuables. Officers tracked down the suspects and recovered several exhibits believed to be connected to the crime.
The Adamawa State Police Command said investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest other members of the gang who remain at large. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to tackling violent crime across the state and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice.
The Commissioner of Police urged residents to remain vigilant and continue supporting security agencies with timely and credible information. He noted that public cooperation has been instrumental in recent breakthroughs against criminal gangs operating in Adamawa State.
The latest arrests form part of the command's ongoing crackdown on armed robbery and other violent crimes, as security agencies intensify efforts to improve safety and protect lives and property across the state.
