The meeting, held at the Government House on Friday, brought together key security stakeholders to review ongoing operations and develop coordinated strategies to address emerging threats across affected communities.
Governor Idris expressed serious concern over the recent attacks and reaffirmed his administration’s determination to restore lasting peace and protect residents from further violence.
He warned that the government would not tolerate informants or collaborators aiding criminal activities, stressing that anyone found guilty would face strict legal consequences.
“My administration will not tolerate or spare anyone found to be an informant. Anyone found culpable will face the full weight of the law, and justice will be served,” the governor said.
He also commended security agencies in the state for their continued efforts in curbing insecurity and maintaining relative stability in troubled areas.
According to him, their operations have contributed significantly to sustaining peace and reducing the impact of criminal activities in several communities.
Governor Idris further urged residents to support security agencies by providing timely and credible intelligence that could assist in preventing attacks and tracking suspects.
He cautioned against withholding vital information, noting that community cooperation remains critical in winning the fight against banditry.
The governor assured citizens that his administration is fully committed to strengthening security infrastructure and ensuring that all residents can live without fear of attacks or disruptions.
Security officials at the meeting are expected to intensify surveillance and reinforce existing operations as part of renewed efforts to curb rising insecurity in the state.
