Army Warns Nigerians Against Fake 92 Regular Recruitment Notice

The Nigerian Army has warned members of the public against a fake recruitment publication circulating on social media, claiming that applications for the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake have commenced.

In a statement signed by the Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Directorate of Recruitment, Captain AU Hammanga, the Army said the publication was false and should be disregarded.

The Army said it had an established procedure for announcing recruitment exercises and would inform the public through its official communication channels when the recruitment portal for the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened.

It urged prospective applicants to rely only on verified Army platforms for information concerning recruitment exercises.

The warning comes amid concerns that fraudsters could exploit fake recruitment notices to deceive job seekers, collect money from unsuspecting applicants or obtain their personal information.

The Army advised members of the public not to submit applications or make payments based on unverified recruitment announcements.

It reaffirmed its commitment to conducting recruitment exercises transparently and professionally.

The Army also urged prospective applicants to verify any recruitment information through its official channels before taking action.

It reiterated that the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake portal has not been officially opened and warned Nigerians to disregard the circulating publication until an official announcement is made.
