Arsenal Complete £34m Signing of Christos Tzolis From Club Brugge

Arsenal have completed the signing of Greece international forward Christos Tzolis from Belgian side Club Brugge in a deal reportedly worth £34 million.

The Premier League champions confirmed the arrival of the 24-year-old on a long-term contract, describing him as a versatile attacking player capable of operating across the front line.

According to BBC Sport on Thursday, Tzolis joins the Emirates Stadium after an outstanding spell with Club Brugge, where he registered 43 goals and 45 assists in 108 appearances across all competitions.

The Greek international becomes Arsenal’s latest addition as the club strengthens its squad ahead of the new season under manager Mikel Arteta.

His arrival follows the departure of Belgian winger Leandro Trossard, who recently completed a move to Turkish club Besiktas.

Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta welcomed the signing, praising Tzolis’ versatility, technical ability and attacking qualities.

“Christos naturally operates on the left but is comfortable across the front line. He’s an excellent finisher with both feet, thrives in tight spaces, and possesses incredible technical ability,” Berta said.

He added that the forward’s consistent attacking contributions over recent seasons would provide Arsenal with additional creativity and goal-scoring threat.

According to Berta, Tzolis also brings enthusiasm, energy and a strong mentality that will benefit the squad throughout the campaign.

The forward has established himself as one of Europe’s most productive attackers in recent years, attracting interest from several clubs before Arsenal secured his signature.

His ability to play on either wing or through the middle is expected to offer Arteta greater tactical flexibility as Arsenal prepare to defend their Premier League title and compete in Europe.

Tzolis is expected to link up with his new teammates immediately and begin preparations for the upcoming season.

The Gunners believe the Greek international’s experience, versatility and attacking output will further strengthen their frontline as they target more domestic and continental success.
