Tinubu Commissions TETFund Projects Across Four Tertiary Institutions Nationwide
President Tinubu has commissioned TETFund-funded education projects across four Nigerian tertiary institutions, including upgraded facilities at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna, as part of efforts to improve infrastructure and learning standards.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned a series of education infrastructure projects across four tertiary institutions in Nigeria, delivered through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) as part of ongoing federal interventions in the education sector.
The projects, spread across different geopolitical zones, are aimed at strengthening learning facilities, improving research capacity, and enhancing the overall quality of tertiary education in the country.
At the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna State, one of the key highlights was the commissioning of upgraded academic and administrative facilities designed to support improved training and institutional efficiency.
In addition, other institutions also benefited from newly completed structures under the intervention programme, reflecting a broader effort by the Federal Government to modernise campuses and address infrastructure gaps that have affected the education sector for years.
Government officials noted that the interventions are part of a sustained push to improve standards in public tertiary institutions, with emphasis on research development, digital learning environments, and better student welfare facilities.
The commissioning event formed part of wider activities marking the administration’s third anniversary, with authorities reaffirming commitment to continued investment in education infrastructure across the country.
