The kidnapped woman was rescued unharmed during the operation and taken to safety, where she received medical attention before being reunited with her family. Police also recovered exhibits from the scene, while efforts have been intensified to track down and arrest the fleeing suspects believed to have sustained injuries during the confrontation.
SP Ndukwe commended the officers and local security volunteers for their swift response and professionalism, noting that the successful rescue underscored the importance of intelligence-driven policing and collaboration with communities.
