Osun 2026: I'll Restore Dignity to Public Service — Oyebamiji

An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), has pledged to restore professionalism, efficiency and dignity to the state's public service if elected governor in the 2026 governorship election. He said civil servants deserve better welfare, career development opportunities and a work environment that rewards productivity.

Speaking during an engagement with party members and public servants, Oyebamiji described the civil service as the engine room of government, stressing that meaningful governance cannot be achieved without a motivated and competent workforce. He promised to prioritise policies that would improve workers' welfare and strengthen institutional capacity across ministries, departments and agencies.

The APC aspirant also pledged to promote merit, fairness and transparency in appointments, promotions and other personnel matters. According to him, his administration would work closely with labour unions and civil servants to address longstanding challenges affecting service delivery and staff morale.

Oyebamiji said his vision extends beyond improving working conditions, adding that his government would leverage technology, training and continuous capacity building to modernise the state's public service. He maintained that an efficient civil service is essential for implementing government policies and delivering quality services to residents.

He urged party members and the people of Osun State to support his aspiration, expressing confidence that his experience in public administration and financial management would enable him to provide purposeful leadership and reposition the state for sustainable growth and development.
