NABTEB Extends 2026 Common Entrance Registration, Shifts Exam To June 13
NABTEB has extended the registration deadline for the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination into technical colleges to May 31 and rescheduled the exam from June 6 to June 13, 2026, to allow candidates more time for preparation.
The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has extended the registration deadline for the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination into technical colleges across Nigeria and rescheduled the examination date.
According to the board, registration has now been extended to May 31, giving candidates additional time to complete the process.
The examination, which was earlier scheduled to hold on June 6, will now take place on June 13, 2026.
The adjustment was approved by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB and communicated through an official internal memo issued by the board’s examination administration department.
Officials said the decision followed requests from candidates and stakeholders who needed more time to finalise registration and prepare adequately for the examination.
NABTEB added that it remains committed to ensuring a smooth registration process and a well-organised examination nationwide.
