FG Determined to End Terrorism, Banditry, Says SGF
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation said the Federal Government remains committed to defeating terrorism and banditry through continued security efforts.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to ending terrorism, banditry and other security challenges affecting the country.
Akume stated that the government remained focused on improving security across Nigeria and would continue supporting security agencies in their efforts to protect citizens and restore stability.
He acknowledged the impact of insecurity on communities, economic activities and national development, stressing that tackling criminal activities remained a major priority of the administration.
The SGF’s comments come as security forces continue operations against armed groups and criminal networks in different parts of the country.
