The entire Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA) Global Family proudly joins friends, family members, colleagues, associates, and well-wishers around the world in celebrating an exceptional woman, a dedicated community builder, and a distinguished daughter of Ile-Ife, GN (Prof.) Eniola Oyewande, on the joyous occasion of her 70th Birthday Anniversary.
Today, we honor not only the gift of seventy fruitful years but also a lifetime of meaningful service, sacrifice, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to humanity.
Over the years, Prof. Eniola Oyewande has quietly and consistently invested her time, energy, influence, resources, and expertise toward causes that advance people, communities, and institutions. Her contributions to the growth and progress of the Great Nigerian Assembly have been remarkable. While many celebrate visible achievements, few truly understand the value of those who work diligently behind the scenes to provide support, encouragement, guidance, and stability.
Prof. Oyewande belongs to that rare class of leaders whose impact is often felt more than it is seen. Through her commitment, generosity, counsel, and steadfast support, she has helped strengthen the vision and mission of GNA, contributing significantly to its growth, visibility, credibility, and expanding influence across communities and continents.
Her love for Ile-Ife, her passion for Nigeria, and her commitment to global development continue to inspire many within and beyond our organization. She has remained a strong advocate for community advancement, responsible leadership, youth development, and the preservation of the values and heritage that make our people great.
As a valued member of the Ife Central Local Government Coverage Area Administrator (CAA) Committee, Prof. Oyewande has demonstrated exemplary dedication to the advancement of the GNA Community Governance Initiative. Her contributions continue to support efforts aimed at building sustainable structures for community engagement, accountability, development, and citizen participation.
We are especially grateful for her role in supporting the vision of building a stronger and more connected Global Ife Family—a vision dedicated to uniting Ife indigenes, professionals, leaders, youths, and stakeholders across the world for the advancement and development of Ile-Ife and its people.
