Atiku Blames Tinubu Over Southern Kaduna Killings, Demands Decisive Action

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has condemned the recent killings in Southern Kaduna, accusing President Bola Tinubu's administration of failing in its primary responsibility to protect the lives and property of Nigerians.

Reacting to the deadly attacks, Atiku described the massacre as another painful reminder of the country's worsening security crisis. He expressed sympathy to the families who lost loved ones and to communities devastated by the violence, insisting that Nigerians deserve better protection from the government.

The former presidential candidate argued that the continued bloodshed reflects a serious failure of leadership, saying the Federal Government must move beyond issuing routine statements after every attack. According to him, meaningful action is needed to restore confidence in the nation's security architecture and prevent further loss of innocent lives.

Atiku further maintained that no government can claim success while citizens continue to live in fear of violent attacks. He called on security agencies to identify and prosecute those responsible for the Southern Kaduna killings, stressing that justice for victims and stronger measures against criminal groups are essential to ending the cycle of violence.

His comments come amid renewed concerns over persistent insecurity in parts of the country, with many Nigerians urging authorities to adopt more effective strategies to curb attacks on communities and improve public safety.
