Arokodare Denies Reports of Wolves Training Ground Ban

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has dismissed reports claiming he was barred from training with the Wolverhampton Wanderers first team amid growing speculation over his future at the Championship club. The 25-year-old described the reports as inaccurate, insisting he remains fully committed to the club and is determined to fulfil his contractual obligations professionally.

In a statement released on Thursday, Arokodare said he was "surprised and disappointed" by media reports suggesting he had been banned from training or involved in disruptive behaviour. He stressed that throughout his career he has maintained high professional standards and remains focused on training, supporting his teammates and contributing whenever called upon.

The statement follows reports that Wolves cancelled a training session earlier this week after an alleged disagreement involving the striker, with claims that additional security had been deployed at the club's training ground. Arokodare, however, rejected those reports and reiterated that he has no intention of acting outside the terms of his contract.

Arokodare has attracted transfer interest from several European clubs, including Fiorentina, Genoa and Ajax, after Wolves' relegation from the Premier League. FIFA's recently revised transfer regulations also prohibit clubs from isolating contracted players from first-team training as a means of forcing transfers, adding further attention to the situation.
