The convocation, scheduled for August 8, 2026, at the Sheraton Lagos, will bring together graduates, alumni, industry leaders, education partners, employers and other stakeholders under the theme "One Milestone. Many Futures." According to a statement issued by the institution on Thursday, the ceremony is expected to celebrate learners who have completed Aptech's technology-focused programmes while spotlighting the growing importance of industry-ready skills in fields such as software development, cybersecurity, multimedia, digital creativity and other emerging technology areas.

The event comes against the backdrop of a rapidly expanding digital economy in Nigeria, which has driven increased demand for skilled professionals across sectors including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing and government. As organisations across these sectors continue adopting technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and data-driven solutions, the need for a steady supply of trained digital talent has become increasingly urgent — a gap institutions like Aptech say they are positioned to help close.
