MOSCOW — A Ukrainian long-range drone attack struck a massive fulfillment complex operated by Wildberries, often dubbed "Russia’s Amazon", in the southern Voronezh region, sparking a significant industrial fire and highlighting Kyiv's expanding campaign against Russian supply chain logistics.

Local officials and emergency response units confirmed that regional air defense systems intercepted multiple unmanned aerial vehicles in the area. However, falling debris and a direct drone impact triggered a blaze within the logistics center's facility, damaging inventory and causing structural disruption across the regional distribution hub.

Wildberries dominates the Russian e-commerce landscape, handling millions of daily shipments across the country, while Voronezh serves as a vital logistics node connecting Western Russia to southern operational zones. While Russian authorities claimed that majority of the incoming drones were neutralized by electronic warfare and air defense systems, the resulting fire at such a high-capacity facility underscores the ongoing vulnerability of critical commercial and logistical hubs to low-cost aerial strikes.

The strike targeted a major logistical center owned by Wildberries, Russia’s leading e-commerce platform and largest online marketplace, located in the Voronezh Oblast, a key transit corridor near the border.

Emergency crews were deployed to contain the blaze, and according to preliminary reports from regional governor Aleksandr Gusev, warehouse workers were evacuated with no immediate fatalities reported on-site.

The attack forms part of a broader, intensified strategy by Ukrainian forces to target dual-use infrastructure, energy depots, and major logistical nodes deep inside Russian territory aimed at disrupting military supply lines and regional economic networks.
