The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has met with key South-West leaders of the party as preparations intensify for the August 15 governorship election. The strategic meeting, held at the Lagos State House in Marina, brought together Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, former Osun State Governor Chief Bisi Akande, and APC governorship candidates from Oyo, Ogun and Lagos states.

According to the APC candidate, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to unity, teamwork and coordinated mobilisation across the South-West. He described the meeting as an opportunity to draw from the experience of senior party leaders while fine-tuning the campaign ahead of the crucial election.
Oyebamiji said he was encouraged by the support and guidance received during the meeting, adding that his administration would focus on restoring economic growth, creating opportunities for young people, empowering residents and delivering responsible governance if elected governor. He pledged to continue engaging stakeholders and communities with sincerity and a clear development agenda for Osun State.
Expressing confidence in the APC's chances at the poll, Oyebamiji thanked the party leadership, members of the National Campaign Council and supporters across the state for their backing.
