National Health Insurance Authority enrolls 15 million subscribers
The National Health Insurance Authority has announced its active subscriber base has reached 15 million — the highest in the scheme's history.
The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has announced its active subscriber base has reached 15 million, the highest figure in the scheme's 20-year history.
CEO Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby said the milestone reflected growing public trust in the scheme and was a major step towards universal health coverage.
"Fifteen million Ghanaians now have financial protection when they fall ill," Dr. Dsane-Selby said.
