LP's Okereke Unveils 'Nigerians First! Believe Again!' Agenda, Promises Governance Reforms

Labour Party presidential candidate Dr. Chibuzo Okereke has unveiled his "Nigerians First! Believe Again!" agenda, pledging to implement far-reaching governance reforms if elected in the 2027 presidential election. Speaking at the launch of the policy framework, Okereke said his vision is centred on restoring public confidence in government through transparent leadership, institutional reforms and people-focused development.

Okereke said his administration would prioritise economic revitalisation, job creation, education, healthcare, infrastructure, security and anti-corruption measures, while placing Nigerians at the centre of government policies. He stressed that the "Nigerians First" philosophy is aimed at rebuilding trust in public institutions and creating opportunities that would encourage young Nigerians to believe in the country's future rather than seeking opportunities abroad.

The Labour Party candidate also promised to run an inclusive, reform-driven government, pledging to strengthen democratic institutions, improve service delivery and ensure accountability in public office. He said governance under his leadership would focus on innovation, national unity and sustainable economic growth.

The unveiling of the agenda forms part of the Labour Party's preparations for the 2027 general election, as political parties continue to present their policy blueprints and campaign messages to Nigerians ahead of the polls.
