Palmer Jokes Rogers Risks Legal Action Over “Cold” Goal Celebration

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has jokingly warned new teammate Morgan Rogers against using their famous “cold” goal celebration, revealing that he has officially trademarked the gesture.

The light-hearted remark comes after Rogers completed a club-record £117 million transfer from Aston Villa to Chelsea, reuniting with Palmer after both players progressed through Manchester City’s academy.

“I’ve trademarked it so if he tries to do anything, he’ll have the bailiffs at his door.

“Nah, we’ll do it together,” he added.

Rogers departed City in 2023 following several loan spells before joining Middlesbrough, eventually earning his high-profile move to Chelsea after impressing with Aston Villa.
