Odumodublvck Says Justice Will Prevail in Blaqbonez Feud
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck says the truth will emerge in his ongoing dispute with Blaqbonez, accusing his former collaborator of giving inconsistent accounts and denying their past friendship.
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has said the truth will eventually emerge from his ongoing dispute with fellow rapper Blaqbonez.
Odumodublvck made the remarks during an episode of the In Motion Podcast shared on YouTube on Friday, as the long-running disagreement between the two former collaborators continued.
The dispute has involved allegations concerning a woman, claims of harassment and sexual abuse, as well as legal action. Blaqbonez has denied the sexual-abuse allegations and challenged Odumodublvck to prove them in court.
Speaking about the disagreement, Odumodublvck accused Blaqbonez of giving inconsistent accounts of their relationship and questioned his claim that the two were never friends.
He pointed to their three musical collaborations and his previous appearance at Blaqbonez’s show as evidence of their relationship before the fallout.
Odumodublvck also maintained that allegations of sexual abuse against Blaqbonez were supported by evidence, although he declined to disclose all the details surrounding the matter.
The rapper further referred to an earlier police case involving Blaqbonez, who had been accused by a woman of cyberstalking, harassment, blackmail and invasion of privacy. Blaqbonez denied those allegations.
Odumodublvck questioned Blaqbonez’s account of the police matter, alleging that the rapper was detained and later wrote an apology and undertaking at the police station.
He also alleged that Blaqbonez later deleted statements relating to the matter after returning home. These claims have not been established by a court.
Blaqbonez has separately rejected the sexual-abuse allegations and challenged Odumodublvck to provide evidence in court. His lawyers also issued a pre-action notice seeking N2.55 billion in damages over the allegations, describing Odumodublvck’s statements as defamatory.
The feud between the two rappers developed after years of friendship and collaboration, with their history including songs such as “DOLLERZ”, “TESLA BOY” and “TECHNICIAN”.
Blaqbonez previously said the dispute began after both men became involved with the same woman, before the disagreement escalated into public accusations, social media exchanges and legal threats.
Odumodublvck said he believed the circumstances surrounding the dispute would eventually become clear.
He added that “justice will prevail” when the appropriate time comes.
