How to Upload O’level Result on JAMB Portal Without Visiting CBT Centre

Candidates seeking admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board can now verify and upload their O’level results from home without visiting a Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.

The new arrangement allows JAMB to verify candidates’ results directly with the examination bodies responsible for conducting the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination, beginning with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

The initiative was announced by JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement shared on Monday.

According to the board, the process is designed to make result verification and upload easier, faster, safer and more convenient for candidates, particularly during periods of high traffic at CBT centres.

JAMB said the new system would also reduce problems associated with manual result uploads, including misplaced or mixed-up paper results, unverified or fraudulent certificates and errors in entering subjects and grades.

Through the integration of JAMB’s e-Facility platform with examination bodies, candidates’ results can be checked against the records of the issuing examination organisations before being uploaded to their admission profiles.

Candidates should follow these steps to verify their O’level results:

1. Visit [buyresultsverificationcode.ng](https://buyresultsverificationcode.ng/).

2. Enter your National Identification Number (NIN) and select “Verify NIN.”

3. Select the number of examination sittings you want to verify and choose the appropriate examination body or bodies.

4. Click “Continue.”

5. Enter your email address and GSM number.

6. Click “Pay Now” and complete payment through the available payment gateway using a debit card or bank transfer.

7. After payment, enter your examination details, including the examination number, examination series and examination year.

8. Verify the result or results for the number of sittings selected and obtain your Verification Code.

After obtaining the Verification Code, candidates should complete the upload process as follows:

9. Send “VERIFY” followed by your Verification Code to 55019 or 66019.

10. Wait for the notification confirming that the result has been uploaded.

11. Candidates with two examination sittings should log in to their profiles on the JAMB e-Facility platform.

12. On the dashboard, click “2026 UTME O’Level Upload.”

13. Enter the Verification Code.

14. The two verified results should appear on the screen.

15. Select the required subjects from the displayed results.

16. Click “Apply the O’Level Results.”

17. Wait for the notification confirming that the upload was successful.

Candidates uploading two sittings must select the required subjects carefully. JAMB said applicants can select a minimum of five subjects and a maximum of nine subjects, and no subject should be selected more than once.

Applicants are advised to confirm that their examination number, examination year, examination series, subjects and grades are correct before submitting the information.

Any error in the details supplied during verification could affect the result displayed on the candidate’s profile or delay the admission process. Candidates should also ensure that the name and personal details on their examination records correspond with the information used for their JAMB registration.

The home-based process is expected to reduce queues, unnecessary travel and manual handling of result documents at CBT centres. It may also help candidates complete admission-related requirements more efficiently during periods of high patronage and network congestion.

JAMB said it would continue to work with examination and government agencies to improve its technology-driven services and make them more accessible to candidates.
