GNA Global Registration Portal Opens to Nigerians at Home and in the Diaspora
The Great Nigerian Assembly invites Nigerians worldwide to join its CAA Governance Model, promote accountability, and drive grassroots development across 774 LGAs.
A New Nigeria Starts With You
The Great Nigerian Assembly (GNA) has opened its global registration portal, inviting Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to participate in the GNA CAA Governance Model, a citizen-driven initiative designed to strengthen accountability and promote sustainable development across Nigeria’s 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
The initiative encourages citizens to take an active role in addressing community challenges and supporting development in key sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, education, security, and other areas of grassroots development.
You Have a Role to Play
Nigerians who want to contribute to the progress of their communities are encouraged to join the Great Nigerian Assembly and serve on relevant committees within their Local Government Areas.
Available opportunities include:
- GNA CAA Governance Committee
- Special Development Committees
- Local Government Advisory Council
- Local Government Pacesetter Committee
- Ward Manager Committee, among others.
Through these structures, citizens can contribute their knowledge, skills, time, and resources to community development while supporting accountability and responsible governance at the grassroots level.
Empowering the Youth of Your LGA
GNA also encourages individuals, organizations, and community leaders to sponsor young people for Certified Citizen Reporter (CCR) training.
The programme equips participants with the skills to observe, document, verify, and report on infrastructure and development projects in their communities. Certified Citizen Reporters will help identify community needs, monitor infrastructure conditions, document development activities, and promote transparency and accountability.

Showcasing Your Community’s Contributions Globally
Diaspora associations, township unions, community organizations, and development groups are invited to register as Non-Statutory Responsible Parties (RPs).
Through this initiative, eligible organizations can document and showcase their verified contributions to community development, helping bring greater visibility to local projects and encouraging more Nigerians to participate in improving their communities.

Become Part of the Solution
Nigeria’s development requires the active participation of citizens who are willing to contribute their ideas, expertise, time, and resources towards building stronger communities.
Rather than simply complain about the challenges facing the country, Nigerians are encouraged to become part of the solution by identifying community needs, supporting development initiatives, and promoting accountability within their Local Government Areas.
Interested Nigerians at home and abroad can now register through the GNA global portal and explore opportunities to participate in the initiative.
