Denmark and Wales will meet at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen on Sunday as both sides seek their first points in the UEFA Nations League Group A4.

The two teams began their campaigns with defeats on Thursday, leaving them looking to respond immediately in the second round of fixtures.

Denmark lost 3-2 away to Norway despite recovering from an early two-goal deficit to draw level after the break. Erling Haaland’s second goal ultimately secured victory for the hosts.

Wales, meanwhile, suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat away to reigning Nations League champions Portugal, with João Félix scoring the only goal of the game.

Despite the defeat, Wales produced a disciplined display in Lisbon and limited Portugal’s chances.

Denmark head coach Brian Riemer will be looking for a response from his side in their first home match of the campaign. The Danes have also won their last three meetings with Wales, while Wales’ most recent victory over Denmark came in 2008.

Both teams have injury concerns ahead of the encounter.

Denmark will be without Andreas Christensen and Kasper Dolberg, while Wales have several players unavailable, including Joe Rodon, Harry Wilson and Nathan Broadhead.
