Cristiano Ronaldo Marries Long-Term Partner Georgina Rodriguez

Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez, have married in a private ceremony in the Portuguese resort town of Cascais.

Representatives of the football superstar confirmed that the couple tied the knot on Tuesday, bringing their decade-long relationship to a new chapter after days of intense speculation in Portugal over the wedding’s location and timing.

Ronaldo, 41, shared a photograph of the couple’s hands showing their wedding bands on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “C (heart) G.”

The couple’s five children attended what Ronaldo’s representatives described as a private and intimate ceremony.

The wedding took place exactly one year after Rodriguez, 32, announced their engagement on Instagram.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together for about a decade and have built a high-profile family life spanning football, fashion and travel.

Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus forward has won the Ballon d’Or five times.

He also represented Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the team exited in the last 16.

Rodriguez has developed her own global profile, particularly through her Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, which chronicles her family life alongside her career in fashion and social media.

The wedding had generated considerable interest in Portugal, with local media previously speculating that the ceremony could take place in Sintra, outside Lisbon, or Funchal on the Atlantic island of Madeira, where Ronaldo was born.

The ceremony in Cascais now marks the formal union of one of football’s most recognisable couples.
