Tinubu Left Abuja for Three-Week Europe Vacation – Aide
President Bola Tinubu left Abuja for a three-week European vacation to rest, reflect and spend private time with his family, according to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
President Bola Tinubu left Abuja for a three-week vacation in Europe to take a break from his official duties, his aide, Bayo Onanuga, has said.
Onanuga explained that the President’s trip was a private vacation intended to allow him to rest and spend time with his family.
He said Tinubu had been working extensively and deserved a period of rest after the demands of his official responsibilities.
The presidential aide said the President’s absence from Abuja did not mean that government activities had stopped, as the administration continued to function under the established system of governance.
He added that Tinubu remained in contact with his officials and could attend to important matters when necessary.
The President’s vacation comes amid preparations for the 2027 general elections and ongoing activities of his administration.
Onanuga said the trip should not be interpreted as the President abandoning his responsibilities, stressing that Tinubu would return to Nigeria after the holiday.
