‘They Are Politically Lazy’ – Wike Tackles APC Govs Over Rainbow Coalition Pushback

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has criticised some governors of the All Progressives Congress over their reported opposition to the proposed Rainbow Coalition.

Wike described the governors as “politically lazy,” arguing that political leaders should not become complacent or assume that electoral victories are guaranteed.

The former Rivers State governor made the remarks while reacting to developments surrounding efforts by opposition politicians and other political actors to build a broad coalition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
