The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has announced the arrival of twin princes, born to his wife, Olori Mariam Ajibola.

The traditional ruler shared the news via his official Facebook page on Friday, expressing immense gratitude to God for another season of blessings within the royal family. In his statement, the monarch extended his congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and confirmed that both the newborn twins and the queen are in excellent health.


The birth of the twin princes represents a significant moment for the ancient throne of Ile-Ife. The Ooni had previously expanded his household in 2022 to preserve the rich, centuries-old traditions and customs of the kingdom. Following the announcement, citizens and well-wishers from across the country have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating the double blessing and wishing the royal family continued prosperity.
