Poco Lee’s Management Praises Zlatan’s Support, Urges Restraint
Poco Lee’s management has thanked Zlatan Ibile and others for their support during the dancer’s ongoing UK legal case, while urging the public to avoid spreading unverified narratives.
The management of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has acknowledged the support of singer Zlatan Ibile and others amid the entertainer’s ongoing legal proceedings in the United Kingdom.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by Poco Lee’s manager, Faleye “Dee-Y” Adedoyin, the management described Zlatan and others as extremely supportive and helpful throughout the matter.
The management said their involvement and efforts had been important in moving the matter forward, while expressing appreciation for their continued support.
It also urged members of the public to refrain from spreading negative or unverified narratives concerning the case.
The statement followed comments by social commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, regarding Poco Lee’s trip to the UK and the circumstances surrounding his court case.
VeryDarkMan questioned reports that Poco Lee travelled to the UK for a Davido show, claiming instead that the dancer went for a Zlatan show. He also questioned public support for Poco Lee while the legal proceedings remained ongoing.
Poco Lee was granted bail on September 11 ahead of a scheduled appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15.
However, the hearing was adjourned to February 8, 2027, after the charge sheet was reportedly unavailable and Poco Lee did not appear in court. His trial has subsequently been scheduled for March 8, 2027.
Poco Lee faces five sexual offence charges in the UK, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. He has denied the allegations and has not been convicted of any offence.
