Pisa forward Rafiu Durosinmi has described his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles as a major milestone in his career, while also naming Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu and Akor Adams as strikers he looks up to.
The Nigeria international, who recently earned his first senior call-up, said the opportunity to join the national team represents the fulfilment of a long-held dream and a chance to prove himself at international level.
Durosinmi admitted that Osimhen has been his biggest inspiration, while also praising Onuachu’s style of play and Akor Adams’ recent performances for club and country. He said the three forwards serve as strong examples for his development as a striker.
The forward is expected to compete for playing time as the Super Eagles continue preparations for upcoming international fixtures, with the coaching staff assessing several attacking options ahead of the next set of matches.
His inclusion adds further competition to Nigeria’s forward line as the team looks to build depth and consistency in attack going forward.
