Bishop David Oyedepo, Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has described Pastor William Kumuyi as a sage whose ministry has impacted lives globally.

Oyedepo spoke on Saturday at the August edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, themed “Total Transformation Through Christ”, in Ota, Ogun.

He said he had followed Kumuyi’s ministry from its early days and remained impressed by its strength, spiritual impact and influence over the years.

Oyedepo said he attended the crusade to honour Kumuyi, whom he described as a voice that had affected many people globally.

He also expressed confidence that participants at the programme would experience God’s grace and witness remarkable things.

Speaking on “How Shall We Escape, If We Neglect So Great a Salvation?”, Oyedepo stressed the importance of genuine salvation.

He said salvation was not merely an ideology or belief but a tangible experience, urging Christians to examine their relationship with God.

Oyedepo also recalled his conversion, saying he gave his life to Christ on Feb. 19, 1969, at the age of 15.

Kumuyi, while opening his sermon titled “The Great Transplanting of Blessings into Your Life”, praised Oyedepo’s steadfast faith.

He said their relationship dated back to the 1970s, adding that they were renewing their fellowship and looking forward to greater things.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the crusade, which entered its fourth day in Ota, featured several testimonies, with the grand finale scheduled for Sunday.
