Osimhen Value Drops From €75m to €65m
Victor Osimhen’s Transfermarkt market value has fallen by €10m despite his impressive start to the 2026/27 season with Galatasaray.
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has suffered a significant drop in his estimated market value, with his Transfermarkt valuation falling from €75 million to €65 million.
The latest update represents a €10 million decrease and takes the Galatasaray forward to his lowest estimated market value in four years. The valuation was last recorded at €65 million in June 2022, when Osimhen was 23 years old.
The reduction comes despite Osimhen making a strong start to the 2026/27 season. The Nigerian has scored six goals and provided two assists in four league appearances for Galatasaray.
His latest valuation is also €55 million below his career-high market value of €120 million, which he reached during his time at Napoli.
Osimhen’s market value was €100 million when he joined Galatasaray on loan in September 2024. At the time, he was the most valuable player in Turkish Super Lig history.
Transfermarkt subsequently reduced his valuation to €75 million following his move away from one of Europe’s top five leagues.
The figure later fell to €70 million before rising again to €75 million after Galatasaray completed his permanent transfer from Napoli for €75 million in July 2025. His €75 million valuation was maintained as recently as May 2026.
Despite the latest decline, Osimhen remains the most valuable player in the Turkish league according to the latest Transfermarkt figures.
He is valued above several high-profile players who moved to the league during the summer, including Rafael Leão and Dušan Vlahović.
The latest adjustment has also come at a time when Osimhen has continued to demonstrate his scoring ability for Galatasaray.
However, the striker has yet to feature for the club in the Champions League this season and was also unavailable for Nigeria’s recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures following an injury sustained during league action earlier in September.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently after an impressive loan spell during the 2024/25 season, when he scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
Galatasaray paid Napoli €75 million for his permanent transfer, making Osimhen the most expensive incoming transfer in Turkish football history at the time.
The new €65 million valuation is an estimate of his current transfer-market worth and does not represent a change in the amount Galatasaray paid Napoli for the striker.
