‘Osimhen Can End Man United’s Woes’
Turkish pundits believe Victor Osimhen could solve Manchester United’s attacking problems amid his impressive start to the Turkish season.
Victor Osimhen could provide the solution to Manchester United’s attacking problems if the Nigerian striker eventually moves to Old Trafford, according to Turkish football pundit Yetiş Yönetci.
Yönetci, speaking in comments shared by A Spor, praised Osimhen’s quality and claimed the Galatasaray forward has the ability to succeed at almost any major European club.
“Victor Osimhen would be the cure for all of Manchester United’s woes,” Yönetci said.
Former Göztepe youth chief scout Burak Kural also backed the assessment, insisting that only a small number of European clubs would be beyond Osimhen’s level.
“There are very few teams in Europe that Osimhen couldn’t play for,” Kural said.
The comments come as Osimhen continues to make an impressive start to the new season with Galatasaray.
The Nigeria international has scored four goals and provided one assist in his opening two matches, further strengthening his reputation as one of Europe’s most dangerous strikers.
Manchester United, meanwhile, endured a disappointing opening to their Premier League campaign, suffering a 2-0 defeat away to newly promoted Hull City.
The result has intensified concerns over United’s attacking options and their ability to challenge for major honours.
Osimhen has previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, although a transfer has yet to materialise.
Several former United players have also urged the club to pursue the Nigerian striker.
Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra recently named Osimhen as his preferred signing for the club, arguing that United need additional firepower to compete across multiple competitions.
“Osimhen,” Evra said when asked which player he would sign for United.
He acknowledged the quality of Galatasaray’s squad but stressed that the Nigerian possesses the attributes required to make a significant difference at Old Trafford.
Evra also argued that United need greater depth in attack, particularly if the club wants to compete successfully on multiple fronts.
Osimhen’s continued goalscoring form at Galatasaray is therefore likely to keep speculation about a potential move to Manchester United alive.
With United searching for a proven goalscorer and Osimhen demonstrating his ability to deliver consistently in front of goal, the Nigerian could remain one of the most discussed potential targets for the English club.
