Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, has mourned veteran Nigerian actor Olu Jacobs, describing him as an embodiment of excellence in the Nigerian creative industry.

Obi expressed his condolences in a tribute posted on his X handle on Thursday, following the announcement of Jacobs’ death by his family on Wednesday.

He said Jacobs made remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s film and creative sector through a career spanning several decades in both Nigeria and Britain.
