NYSC Fixes Dates for Physical Verification of Foreign-Trained Graduates
The National Youth Service Corps has scheduled physical verification of credentials and travel documents for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates participating in the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream I service year.
The National Youth Service Corps has announced September 8 to 12, 2026, for the physical verification of credentials and travel documents of foreign-trained Nigerian graduates.
The exercise is for prospective corps members whose credentials and travel documents are yet to be physically verified ahead of the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream I service year.
The NYSC said the verification will take place at nine centres across the country, including Enugu, Bauchi, the Federal Capital Territory, Kano, Lagos, Osun, Rivers, Sokoto and Adamawa.
Affected prospective corps members were advised to report strictly on the date, time and venue stated on their verification slips to prevent overcrowding and ensure an orderly exercise.
The scheme directed participants to present the original copies of all credentials and travel documents uploaded, or expected to be uploaded, during online registration.
Medical graduates are also required to present their professional licences, registration certificates and other relevant documents issued by their professional bodies.
The NYSC further directed prospective corps members to submit original Evaluation Letters issued by the Federal Ministry of Education at its headquarters in Abuja and upload acknowledged copies online.
The scheme warned that only prospective corps members physically seen with their credentials, verified and cleared will be deployed, exempted or excluded from national service.
The physical verification is a mandatory requirement for eligible foreign-trained Nigerian graduates participating in the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream I service year.
