An aspirant for the House of Representatives in Edo State has predicted a major wave of defections to the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) ahead of the 2027 general elections, claiming that many politicians and supporters are becoming dissatisfied with existing political structures.
The aspirant stated that the NDC is gaining momentum across several states due to growing public interest in what he described as a fresh political direction focused on national unity, development, and inclusive governance.
