Makinde Approves Two Buses for Shooting Stars After CAF Victory
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved two new buses for Shooting Stars following the club’s victory over Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved two buses for Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan to support the team’s ongoing continental campaign.
The buses, comprising a 32-seater and an 18-seater, are expected to strengthen the Oluyole Warriors’ transportation and logistics as they compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Makinde’s approval followed Shooting Stars’ impressive victory over Tunisian club CS Sfaxien in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary-round tie at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
The development comes as Shooting Stars return to continental competition for the first time in 27 years.
The Oyo State Government has continued to support the club as it seeks to make a strong return to African football and challenge for continental honours.
