Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush on loan, with an obligation to buy the Egyptian international next summer.

Marmoush is set to join Spurs after Manchester City accepted a deal that will see the London club pay a reported £60 million to make the transfer permanent.

The 27-year-old forward joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for a reported £59 million but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.

His move to Tottenham comes as the club continues a major overhaul of its squad under new manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Marmoush follows Brazilian winger Sávio, who recently completed a move from Manchester City to Spurs in a deal worth £75 million, potentially rising to £85 million with add-ons.

Tottenham have already spent heavily in the transfer window, bringing in several players as they seek to strengthen their squad after finishing 17th in the Premier League last season.

Marmoush impressed during his time at Eintracht Frankfurt before moving to City, scoring 16 goals in 37 appearances during the 2023/24 campaign and attracting interest from several top European clubs.

At City, however, competition for attacking positions limited his opportunities, with the forward finding it difficult to secure regular playing time.

His arrival is expected to provide Tottenham with additional pace, creativity and goals in attack as De Zerbi continues to reshape the squad.

The move also represents another significant outgoing transfer for Manchester City as the club undergoes its own squad restructuring ahead of the new season.
