Chelsea forward João Pedro has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club, committing his future to the Blues until June 2032.
The Brazilian forward completed the new agreement on Wednesday after Chelsea approved and finalised the necessary contract documents.
The deal includes a salary increase for the 24-year-old, rewarding his performances since joining Chelsea.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the new contract also contains an option that could extend Pedro’s stay at Stamford Bridge beyond June 2032.
Pedro joined Chelsea from Brighton in 2025 and quickly established himself as an important part of the club’s attack.
Reacting to the agreement, Pedro said he was happy to continue his journey with Chelsea and expressed excitement about the club’s ambitions.
“I’m very happy to continue my journey with Chelsea. This is a club with huge ambitions, and I want to be part of what we are building here,” he said.
The new agreement further demonstrates Chelsea’s commitment to building its long-term project around the Brazilian forward.
Pedro’s contract renewal also comes amid reported interest from other European clubs, making the improved terms another indication of his importance to Chelsea.
