Cross River Group Targets 10 Million Votes For Tinubu, Otu, APC Candidates In 2027
A political support group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, has pledged to mobilise more than 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu, Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu and other All Progressives Congress candidates in the 2027 general elections.
A political support group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTFN), has announced plans to mobilise more than 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The group's National Director of Strategic Deployment and Implementation, Shedrach Egede, disclosed this on Wednesday while addressing journalists in Calabar, Cross River State.
Egede, who mobilised supporters to the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, said the organisation was committed to securing the re-election of Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu, alongside victory for all APC candidates in the state.
He described the large turnout at the rally as evidence of the group's grassroots support and readiness to strengthen the party's political structures across the state.
Egede said the mobilisation initiative was part of the mandate given to him by RTFN's Chief Founder, Seyi Tinubu, and its Director-General, Bala Ahmed.
He disclosed that the organisation planned to intensify political engagement through its coordinators across Cross River's 18 local government areas and 196 political wards.
According to him, the strategy would focus on expanding the group's support base, strengthening community-level structures and communicating the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda to residents.
Egede stressed that the organisation's activities would extend beyond participation in political rallies to sustained grassroots mobilisation aimed at translating public support into votes during the elections.
He reaffirmed the group's commitment to supporting Tinubu, Otu and other APC candidates in the forthcoming polls.
The pledge comes amid increased political mobilisation by APC support groups in Cross River ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In February, APC leaders in the state, led by Governor Otu, pledged to mobilise at least 1.5 million votes for Tinubu during a stakeholders' meeting in Calabar.
