Ghana's Black Stars secured their place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with a commanding 3-0 victory over Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, putting to rest weeks of qualification anxiety.

Goals from Jordan Ayew, Ernest Nuamah and debutant Daniel Afriyie Barnieh put Ghana top of Group I with 13 points from six games, advancing to the continental finals scheduled for Morocco in January.

Head coach Otto Addo praised his players' resilience: "The team showed character tonight."
