APC Reopens Membership Registration Nationwide August 31
The All Progressives Congress will reopen its electronic membership registration exercise nationwide on Aug. 31, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Existing members are expected to validate their details, while new members can register to join the party.
The All Progressives Congress has announced the reopening of its electronic membership registration exercise nationwide from Aug. 31.
The party said the exercise would be conducted across all wards, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement on Tuesday, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, urged party stakeholders, supporters and members, both old and new, to participate in the exercise.
Morka said existing members would be required to validate their membership, while new and intending members would be encouraged to register.
He said the exercise was aimed at digitising the party’s membership register, ensuring the integrity of membership records and improving access to membership data for planning and management.
According to him, the initiative will also promote internal democracy and strengthen the APC’s commitment to democratic innovation.
The party said prospective registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number.
The reopening comes as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 general elections, with membership registration expected to play an important role in party organisation and participation in internal processes.
